1. What Kindling is

Kindling is a marketing campaign tool that uses AI to help small startup teams plan and write marketing content. You provide a brief, Kindling generates campaign content across multiple channels. You own what you create.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Kindling. Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One person per account -- no sharing credentials across a team.

3. Free and Pro plans

The free plan includes 1 campaign per month. Pro ($25/month) gives you unlimited campaigns and access to all agents. We can change pricing with 30 days notice. You can cancel Pro anytime -- your access continues through the end of the billing period.

4. What you own

You own all content generated through Kindling. Your briefs, your campaigns, your copy. We do not claim any rights to your generated content. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. What we own

Kindling the product -- the interface, the agents, the brand, the code -- belongs to us. You get a license to use the product while your account is active. That license does not transfer.

6. AI-generated content

Kindling uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate marketing content. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or not suitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before publishing. We are not liable for content you publish.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Kindling to generate content that is illegal, deceptive, discriminatory, or harmful. Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the product, or use the API in unauthorized ways. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Advertising compliance

Kindling generates marketing content. You are responsible for ensuring that content complies with applicable advertising laws in your jurisdiction, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR email requirements, FTC guidelines, and any industry-specific regulations. When Kindling generates email content, you must add your own unsubscribe link and physical mailing address before sending.

9. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. Kindling depends on third-party services (cloud hosting, AI APIs) that may experience outages. We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of liability

Kindling is provided as-is. We do not guarantee specific results from using the product. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continuing to use Kindling after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
